🏨 About the Job: Room Attendant
At Hampton Inn & Suites, our housekeeping team is the heart of the hotel. You’ll work in a positive, team-focused environment where we celebrate achievements, support each other, and have fun along the way.
We’re located right by the Kelowna International Airport, with easy access via public transport and our free shuttle that picks up staff from the UBCO bus loop.
🧽 What You’ll Be Doing
As a Room Attendant, your daily routine will involve:
- 🕒 Arriving at least 10 minutes early to get ready for your shift
- 🛏️ Cleaning 14+ guest rooms per day, depending on hotel occupancy
- ✅ Maintaining high cleanliness standards
- 🔧 Reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns
- 🧼 Deep cleaning and handling special cleaning projects
- 🚪 Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism
- 🔄 Cross-training and helping other departments when needed
- 🧴 Safely using cleaning chemicals and PPE
- 📦 Managing lost and found items properly
- 🧺 Supporting laundry and linen tasks when required
