Job Description

In this leadership role, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of digital projects, from planning and design to implementation and continuous improvement. Your primary objective will be to align digital initiatives with QAFCO’s long-term business strategy while ensuring every investment contributes to operational efficiency and business growth.
The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate with technology partners, and guide the organization in adopting modern digital tools and innovative business processes. You will also evaluate the return on investment of digital initiatives and ensure that projects deliver measurable business outcomes.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will identify opportunities for digital innovation across the organization’s value chain, manage digital transformation roadmaps, monitor project progress, and resolve implementation challenges before they impact business operations.
You will represent QAFCO at local and international technology conferences, innovation forums, and industry events while building strategic relationships with technology providers and innovation partners. In addition, you will support the development of internal digital capabilities by promoting knowledge sharing and establishing a strong digital Center of Excellence.
The role requires excellent leadership, strategic planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Candidates should be comfortable working with senior executives, managing multiple digital initiatives simultaneously, and driving organizational change through technology.

Qualification
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, Digital Transformation, or another relevant discipline.
- A Master’s Degree is considered an advantage.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Additional certifications in Digital Transformation, Agile, Scrum, or Change Management are beneficial.
Required Experience
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in digital transformation, innovation management, or digital implementation.
- At least 5 years of leadership or managerial experience.
- Previous experience within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, or Heavy Industrial sectors is highly preferred.
- Experience managing enterprise-level digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven experience delivering successful technology implementation projects.
- Strong background in stakeholder management and strategic planning.
