Job Description

The Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition will be responsible for managing recruitment activities for UAE National positions across multiple business functions. The role requires close collaboration with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, identify Emiratization opportunities, and attract highly qualified Emirati professionals.

You will oversee every stage of the hiring process, from sourcing and screening candidates to interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding. Building relationships with universities, government organizations, and talent communities will also be an important part of the role.

This position is ideal for HR professionals who enjoy strategic recruitment, stakeholder management, and creating a positive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager – Talent Acquisition, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage the complete recruitment process for UAE National positions.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning and recruitment requirements.
• Develop recruitment strategies that support Emiratization objectives.
• Source qualified Emirati professionals through job portals, referrals, career fairs, and networking events.
• Build long-term relationships with universities and educational institutions.
• Collaborate with Nafis and government organizations supporting Emirati employment.
• Screen applications and conduct interviews.
• Coordinate recruitment assessments and selection processes.
• Negotiate employment offers with selected candidates.
• Support onboarding activities for new employees.
• Track recruitment metrics and prepare hiring reports.
• Monitor Emiratization targets and recruitment performance.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with UAE Labour Law.
• Promote DAMAC’s employer brand across the UAE National talent market.
• Maintain accurate candidate records using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Qualification

Required Education

Candidates applying for this position should have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline

Additional HR certifications will be considered an advantage.

Required Experience

Applicants should possess:

• 4–6 years of Talent Acquisition experience.
• Experience recruiting UAE Nationals.
• Previous exposure to Emiratization hiring initiatives.
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders.
• Background in corporate recruitment is preferred.
