Job Description

The IT Coordinator Jobs in Dublin Ireland position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a senior technical support role. You will assist with maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure, supporting staff members, managing hardware and software, administering cloud services, and helping deliver technology projects.

You will also support the IT Manager with planning, vendor coordination, licensing, asset management, cybersecurity, onboarding and offboarding, and day-to-day technical operations. The role requires someone who can solve problems quickly, communicate effectively, and work confidently both independently and within a small IT team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful IT Coordinator will:

  • Provide technical support to employees across the organization.
  • Assist the IT Manager with daily operations and strategic planning.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 administration and licensing.
  • Maintain Windows servers and network infrastructure.
  • Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and cloud platforms.
  • Administer IT helpdesk requests and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Manage IT hardware inventory and procurement.
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support mobile device management and cloud backup solutions.
  • Maintain printer servers and business applications.
  • Assist with cybersecurity best practices.
  • Participate in IT projects and technology improvements.
  • Travel to different Jigsaw locations when required.
  • Work closely with technology vendors and service providers

Qualification

Required Education

Candidates applying for this position should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Equivalent professional qualifications combined with extensive senior IT experience may also be considered.
  • Industry certifications in networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or Microsoft technologies are considered an advantage.

Required Experience

Applicants should have:

  • 6–7 years of experience in a senior IT support, IT administrator, or IT officer role.
  • Experience managing IT helpdesk operations.
  • Experience supporting Windows Server environments.
  • Experience working with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Experience maintaining IT hardware, laptops, servers, and mobile devices.
  • Experience with cloud backup systems.
  • Experience supporting Cisco VoIP systems.
  • Experience with inventory management and IT asset tracking.
