State Street is seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Assistant Vice President to join its Hedge Fund Accounting and Administration team in Montreal. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing NAV delivery, managing client relationships, supporting operational projects, supervising global accounting teams, and ensuring the accuracy of hedge fund accounting processes.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work within the alternative investment sector while collaborating with global teams and institutional clients.
Key Responsibilities

What You Have To Do:
- Perform final review and sign off on NAV packages
- Manage hub location delivery of NAV work
- Perform client management & oversight
- Execute administrative tasks & projects client related and non-client related
- Support any new technology rollouts that are related to the NAV team
- Handle client initialization and transition processes
Qualification
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of hedge fund accounting, fund accounting, hedge fund administration, or audit experience.
- Extensive experience working with hedge fund structures and investment products.
- Previous leadership or managerial experience is highly preferred.
- Experience managing offshore teams is considered an advantage.
