As a Chef at Spago, you will oversee food preparation, develop menus, supervise kitchen staff, and ensure that every dish meets the restaurant’s high-quality standards. The successful candidate will also contribute to recipe development, inventory management, and banquet or special event catering while maintaining excellent food safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include:

• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty dishes.
• Design creative recipes and seasonal menu items.
• Plan menus that meet quality and customer expectations.
• Estimate food requirements and control food costs.
• Maintain inventory records and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff.
• Train team members on cooking techniques and food presentation.
• Demonstrate new cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
• Prepare meals for banquets, weddings, and special events.
• Consult with clients regarding catering and specialty functions.
• Ensure dishes meet dietary restrictions and allergy requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization.

Education Requirements

• No formal degree, diploma, or certificate is required.
