Job Description
As a Product Support Associate, you will become the first point of contact for customers needing technical assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor support channels, respond quickly to customer requests, investigate common technical issues, and ensure every support ticket reaches the appropriate team when additional expertise is needed.
You will work closely with Customer Success, Engineering, Product, and Deployment teams to ensure customers receive timely and accurate assistance. Daily tasks include reviewing incoming support requests, checking hardware connectivity, validating installations, monitoring devices, documenting technical issues, and escalating complex cases with complete information.
The role follows a structured support process while also allowing employees to suggest improvements that make customer support more efficient. Since the company provides global coverage, you will work scheduled shifts and participate in rotating weekend support.
Key Responsibilities
The Product Support Associate will:
- Respond to customer support requests through assigned channels.
- Investigate technical issues using company procedures.
- Categorize support tickets correctly.
- Escalate software issues to Engineering when necessary.
- Assist deployment teams with installation validation.
- Monitor online and offline device status.
- Report hardware problems according to company guidelines.
- Create detailed documentation for escalated cases.
- Maintain accurate support records.
- Coordinate with internal departments for faster issue resolution.
- Participate in rotating weekend support coverage.
- Follow company security and operational procedures.
Qualification
Required Education
Candidates should have one of the following qualifications:
- Diploma in Information Technology
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- Degree in Information Systems
- Software Engineering qualification
- Other relevant technical education
Equivalent technical training with practical experience will also be considered.
Required Experience
Applicants should have:
- At least 1–2 years of Tier 1 IT Help Desk experience
- Experience supporting SaaS applications
- Familiarity with ticket management systems
- Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues
- Ability to work independently during assigned shifts
- Experience following structured support procedures
Previous experience in healthcare technology or an early-stage software company is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
