Job Description

The Purchasing Coordinator will play an important role in managing the daily procurement activities of the hotel. The successful candidate will ensure that purchasing requests are processed efficiently, suppliers are managed professionally, and hotel departments receive the products and services they need on time.

This role requires excellent communication, organization, and negotiation skills. Attention to detail is essential, as the coordinator will also monitor invoices, delivery schedules, inventory records, and purchasing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for:

Qualification

Required Education

Applicants should have one of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Diploma in Purchasing
  • Business Administration
  • Hospitality Management
  • Or another related discipline

Required Experience

Candidates should have:

  • Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience
  • Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred
  • Experience using hotel ERP or procurement software
  • Practical knowledge of hotel purchasing procedures
  • Experience handling supplier negotiations and procurement documentation
