Key Responsibilities
Director, Private Banking Jobs in Qatar
The Director of Private Banking is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) clients. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing client relationships, and recommend suitable banking and investment solutions based on each client’s financial goals.
You will also collaborate with internal specialists across different banking divisions to deliver a complete range of financial services while contributing to the bank’s revenue and long-term growth.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Identify new business opportunities and acquire new-to-bank customers.
Understand clients’ financial objectives and recommend suitable wealth management strategies.
Promote investment products, term deposits, foreign exchange solutions, CASA accounts, treasury products, and other banking services.
Grow the value of the existing client portfolio while increasing profitability.
Work closely with investment advisors and internal banking teams to provide complete financial solutions.
Deliver outstanding customer service before, during, and after every transaction.
Build long-term client loyalty through proactive communication and regular portfolio reviews.
Monitor market trends to identify investment opportunities for clients.
Achieve sales, revenue, and portfolio growth targets.
Maintain strict compliance with banking regulations, AML policies, and internal risk management procedures.
Protect the bank’s reputation by maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as CFA, CFP, CISI, or equivalent are an advantage.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of private banking, wealth management, and investment advisory.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience managing high-net-worth client portfolios.
