Emirates is looking for a talented Data Scientist/AI Engineer to join its Analytics Centre of Excellence (ACoE) in Dubai. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, artificial intelligence and practical business problems.

In this role, you will work on projects that have a real impact on the Emirates Group. Your work may involve commercial activities, airport and airline operations, customer experiences and other areas where better use of data can improve decision-making.

Rather than simply analysing information, you will help turn data into useful products and intelligent solutions. The position also provides the chance to work with modern technologies such as Generative AI, Large Language Models and Agentic AI.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist/AI Engineer, you will be involved in developing and deploying machine learning and AI solutions that solve real business challenges.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing machine learning, analytics and AI solutions that provide measurable business value.
• Working with structured, semi-structured and unstructured data.
• Creating predictive, prescriptive and optimisation models.
• Turning business requirements into practical data science solutions.
• Building dashboards, visualisations and analytical tools for decision-makers.
• Developing reusable libraries, frameworks and production-ready data science assets.
• Working with experimentation methods such as A/B testing and customer segmentation.
• Collaborating with engineers, analysts and product teams.
• Supporting AI-powered products and intelligent automation projects.
• Deploying and monitoring machine learning and AI applications.
• Applying model evaluation, prompt engineering and context engineering techniques.
• Helping create reliable and scalable AI applications.

Qualification

Required Education

Candidates should have an MSc or PhD in a relevant quantitative or technical discipline.

Candidates should also understand how production AI systems are evaluated, monitored and governed.

Preferred AI Experience

Experience with modern Generative AI technologies will be an advantage. Emirates is particularly interested in candidates who understand how LLM-based applications can be connected with company data and business processes.

Knowledge of RAG systems, vector search, AI agents and multi-agent architectures can be useful when developing intelligent applications.
